President's message

Dear Prospective Students, The Sidhwan Group of Institutions for Women emerged as a lighthouse, spreading beacons of hope and enlightenment, at a time (over a century ago) when education was a taboo; amongst girls from rural areas. When, very few realised that educating a man educates just one person, but educating a lady educates the entire family.

This Educational group claims with pride, that some of the most cultured, accomplished and progressive ladies, both nationally and abroad are alumni of our institutions! Now-a-days, with a myriad educational institutions having mushroomed in the country, providing you with multiple options, the question is, what sets us apart from others in this field? Is it our century old value system of traditions and culture? Is it our effortless blend of these time honoured virtues meshed into modern ways of education and living? Is it the strict discipline and a ‘no compromise’ approach we adopt towards any aberrant conduct on our Campuses or Hostels ensuring safety of our students? Or is it the utter dedication and loyalty of our long standing Management, Principals and carefully selected staff that ensures outstanding results?! Perhaps, all of above contribute to the issue; but what really sets us apart is our ‘philosophy’ behind running these institutions.

While others are ‘in the business of education’ for ‘business; we, as a genuine Non- Profitable Charity Trust (with no individual beneficiaries) are in the ‘businesses of education’ solely for imparting ‘education’, with no profit motive. G.H.G. Harparkash College of Education for Women, is one of our oldest and premier institutions offering a wide variety of courses with an outstanding Principal and faculty, housed in an enviable idyllic campus with all modern amenities. I have no hesitation in providing an assurance that students who choose further educational grooming in this institute in any subject of their choice, shall always cherish, not only their years spent in this institute imbibing education, but also the attitudinal enhancement that came with it.
